Teacher Ken thinks that there is a positive power to music. It can be therapeutic and fun! Teacher Ken loves teaching, composing, and performing. He has done soundtrack music for several films and has his band, who have played out and released music for the better part of 20 years. For teacher Ken disciplining with kindness and getting to know the students' ability and what they like is key. He finds teaching rewarding and has been at it for several decades. Most importantly, nothing beats having a good time while leading an instrument and making friends.

Dr. Zheng began classical piano when he was young and never stopped playing! He believes in engaging students with a mix of technique while finding music that interests the student as well. Dr. Zheng teaches all genres and can find sheet music online for your students favorite songs whether that is the Halo theme or Disney. Dr. Zheng earned a doctoral degree in music composition and focused on piano and voice during his doctorate career. As a professional pianist, Dr. Zheng received the International Piano Diploma from the Grazyna and Kiejstut Bacewicz Academy of Music in Lodz, Poland. 

Besides music life, Zheng S also likes the art of cooking, and enjoys for of different cultures from all over the world. 

Rachel has been teaching piano at our Academy for years now and is an extremely popular instructor! She has been playing her chosen instrument for over 15 years and is excited she can share this skill with others.

With experience teaching very young students as well as adults of all levels Rachel always personalizes lessons.She does this by adding games and student song choices to lessons to make them fun and age appropriate. 

Rachel has a Bachelor of Arts in Music from the University of Saint Mary but that was not enough for her! Rachel strives to improve herself as a private lessons instructor through research of materials and age appropriate activities. She attended additional private lessons training and is certified through the Music Teachers National Association (MTNA) as a private piano instructor.

Caleb has been passionate about music for as long as he can remember. He started playing the violin in 6th grade and has since become fluent in multiple styles of playing such as classical, pop, rock, and jazz. It wasn’t long before the violin led to learning multiple instruments such as guitar, ukulele, piano, banjo and dulcimer. He began solo and ensemble festivals in 8th grade and has an experience performing in live action musical pits.

Alongside teaching, Caleb pursues his passion in the IT industry and can also be seen gigging during the weekends.

With his years of experience in music, Caleb brings a unique flare that is both motivating and highly successful in helping his students achieve their goals.
